Bottom Painting

Every bottom paint job is completed using Interlux brand bottom paint.

We begin by cleaning and sanding the hull below the waterline to create a smooth surface.

For first time bottom painting, we use two coats of the Interlux brand Interprotect primer as an added layer of protection and bonding agent. Two coats of the Interlux Micron CSC ablative anti-fouling paint is then applied. Micron CSC provides long-lasting protection in all waters. In addition, the controlled polishing reduces build-up and minimizes sanding. Finally, we apply two coats of Primocon Primer and Trilux 33 anti-fouling paint to all underwater metals to block slime and prevent corrosion.
